Melisa Mazotti-Johnson and Tucker Associates Real Estate Services Participate in Another Successful Local Community Fundraising Event!
On February 23, 2010 Euphoria Nail and Body Bar, 300 Main Street, Pleasanton opened its doors to host a fundraising event to benefit SMAS, a local not for profit organization and support group for Single Mothers And Sons, SMAS.
The Founder of SMAS, Brenda Montgomery launched this not for profit support group in September of 2009 with aspirations to take the concept international by 2011. Melisa Mazotti-Johnson sits on the Board of Directors. “I know all to well the daily struggles and dedication it takes to be a role model for boys without a full time father. SMAS came about to offer a support group to single Mothers.”
Jovan, the owner/operator and her staff of Euphoria Nail and Body Bar offered spa treatments and donated a portion of the proceeds to the cause, Games 2U was also on site to entertain and delight the kids in attendance. Special appearances were made by several Raiderettes and Raider football Pro’s, #50 Isaiah Ekejiuba, #12 Darias Heyward-Bey, #42 Samuel Sims. The Raiders and Raiderettes happily signed autographs, posed for photographs and donated their time and energy to help heighten awareness for this need to support our single Moms and children within our community. “Here again, I am humbled by Melisa’s boundless energy and willingness to lend a hand. As a Director and board member for SMAS, Melisa is in charge of community awareness and fundraising for the cause. Not only was Melisa our most productive selling associate at Tucker Associates in 2009, she always manages to find the time to give back.
