Tucker Associates Does it Again! 5th Annual Cloths Drive and Fundraiser to benefit Shepherd’s Gate and Tri-Valley Animal Rescue

Last month the team at Tucker Associates Real Estate Services hosted a charity event at their office location, 4185 Blackhawk Plaza Circle. Hundreds of locals came out to help support the effort of successfully filling a large moving truck with lightly used cloths, toys and reusable household donations in addition to supporting the goal of finding new homes for pets in need. The Tucker team was elated with the results. Both Shepherd’s Gate and Tri-Valley Animal Rescue applauded the efforts and consistency of Tucker Associates for their dedication of bringing awareness to both causes while creating a holiday atmosphere for their guests. “Each year we gear up to offer our community an opportunity to make a difference and do something that means so much too so many in need, with very little effort on the donor’s part. The generosity of the 25 plus holiday boutique vendors, local vintners and the musical talents of Sue Lukito offered a festive backdrop for the focus of gathering both monetary and tangible donations to benefit both causes. The good will of so many made a huge difference this year for Shepherd’s Gate and TVAR” says Nicole Tucker.

Keelie Chamberland, Facilities Coordinator for Shepherd’s Gate shared “our donations were down significantly this year and the Clothes Drive made a huge impact!” The much needed clothing, toys and household items couldn’t have come soon enough, thanks to the organizational efforts of the group at Tucker Associates. The donated items are used in Shepherd’s Gate thrift stores to outfit women and children in need and to sell to raise funds to house and nourish hundreds of local women and children that have come upon hard times.

Nicole Tucker and Melisa Mazotti-Johnson, organizers of the event, enthusiastically praise their sales force; Stephanie Swenson, Bryan Denman, Sharon Sumter, Carolynn Thelemaque, Dr. James Korkos, Kara Kanishak, Michelle Loeza, Miles Gibbons, Teresa Brignoli, Elizabeth Silva and Georgia Quinlan for rolling up their sleeves, putting their own needs aside and doing something that would make an impact for both people and pets in need. “It’s very easy to get overwhelmed during the holiday season. Doing something for the betterment of many is truly a gift in itself. Now into our 5th year of hosting this event, we’ll look forward to yet another opportunity to serve next year!” says Melisa Mazotti-Johnson.
